I'm still trying to get my high school diploma but I'm not sure when I will be finished. I want to start studying to become an Anesthesiologist, I want to move and get away from the people that are negative and always put me down, I'm so tired of feeling worthless. I want to know if there is a school that will accept me with only a GED.

It is too early for you to be thinking about what kind of a doctor you want to be. Before you can specialize in anesthesiology (which is one of the most difficult medical specialties) you have to graduate from medical school - there are no majors in medical school - most everybody takes the same general courses so that they can become well trained physicians first, and specialists later.
To get into med school you need to graduate from a good college with a top GPA after taking some of the hardest college courses - chemistry, organic chemistry, biology, physics, calculus. And you must take the MCATs - like SATs only much harder.
To get prepared for these tough college courses you need to take all the math and chemistry you can get in high school. You might not be able to do that in a GED program, so you have put yourself in a tough spot by not finishing a regular high school program.
I don't think it is impossible for you to become a physician, but it is going to be a very tough road. You will need every ounce of determination and intelligence that you can summon up.
Good luck.

Yes there are a few schools now that will accept a GED, you just have to do your research and contact the school. I dont know where you live so I cant recommend any. Try not to get discouraged by negative feedback from others about a GED, hey its something to be proud of, better than not getting anything. Some colleges may have where if you are not accepted because of your GED you can write a letter saying why you deserve to be waivered into that school and might be on a probation period for 1-2 semesters, but thats ok. Call the admissions dept. at your schools of choice.

Yes, if you have a GED. Most tech schools and community colleges accept a GED as readily as a diploma. Many x-ray techs I've known had learned their job in the military.

If you get a GED, I'd go to a community college to prove myself. Once you show that you have what it takes to realize your dream, apply to a good 4 year school. With hard work you can make it. Don't let anybody say that you can't!

Do you even know what an Anesthesiologist IS? That is a Medical Doctor with a specialty in Anesthesia... I don't know of ANY Medical School that will accept someone who hasn't graduated from High School.

If you can't get past high school. What in the hell makes you think you can make it through medical school. You may get accepted into college with good ACT/SAT but getting accepted into Med school is another story..It is a very competitive field.
