I know some janitor jobs don't require a college degree, but I want to be like the head janitor or maybe even the supervisor.

If you really want an education I would look into a hospitality management program at a school you like, and the programs aren't always 4 years.

Being in maintenance as the top janitor after 4 years or more of college isn't something I would have thought of majoring in...........Do your parents who will be paying for this education agree with your decision. I would think you would have to take several courses.....You will have to know how and when to use certain chemicals for cleaning also the use of the proper tools for such jobs.......you'll will need to be able to assign duties, ordering supplies there are a multitude of things to know.......I suggest you speak with your counselor.........about the classes.
Good Luck! No matter what your job is, always take pride in what you do.

Take business classes and management training classes. You need people skills to have a crew that will work with you and for you. A few college classes won't hurt.
