I live on Long Island and i am a senior in HS. My options for next year are SUNY Buffalo, and SUNY Albany. I plan to major in business and both schools have a great 5 year MBA program. I am also a huge sports fan which Buffalo basicially sucks and Albany has been in the NCAA basketball tournament 2 straight years and their lacrosse is sick this year. I originaly liked the idea of a big campus, but I am starting to like Albany. My parents are leaning towards Buffalo. I know a lot of upperclassmen and alumni from Albany and not so much from Buffalo.

All the girls in my class are so depressed about leaving high school. Am I weird for wanting to get out of high school and start the college lifestyle? I feel like college will be 10 times funner than my high school career.

I live in San Francisco area, and I am deciding between UC Santa Cruz (about 2 hours from where I live), Cal Poly (which is about 3 hours away from where I live) and Santa Barbara (which is about 6 hours from where I live). I am mostly interested in science, so which one is a better choice for that? Also my family really doesnt want me to go too far away so I can visit them often, they want me to go to Santa Cruz because its only 2 hours away. I am considering santa cruz, but Santa Barbara is slightly higher on my list... is there really enough of a difference between the two?

So basically I have to find out which college is the best for science and if it turns out that Santa Barbara (the farthest one away) is, then I have to choose between which one is closer to home and which one is slightly better! I don't have a car either. What should I do?
