Higher Education (University +) - March 2007

I hear a lot that colleges and universities indoctrinate the students with liberal ideology, because of the liberal professors. I just graduated from college, and very few of my professors ever talked about their politics, unless it was a class about the subject. I did get the feeling a lot of them were liberal, but I never felt like they were trying to change my point of view. I was just wondering what other people thought?

I'm a junior and i've begun my college search. Lehigh, thus far, is my favorite. I was wondering if you all think that my credentials are up to par with the things they expect? As far as grades go, i've got an unweighted 3.8 and a weighted 4.4. I'm in 3 AP classes. I do numerous things for community service(tudoring, peer ministry, habitat for humanity). I'm also president of 3 clubs, and a member of many many others. I have 4 years of Rugby, 2 years of football, and 2 years of lax. I'm gonna be getting my EMT certification in fall, and i've held job for a while. what do you all think? i know i'm forgetting some stuff, but thats the gist of it i believe. thanks. oh wait, SAT is around 2050.

Im 19. About to be 20 in May. (currently attending community college) Still living at home :-(

I only have 34 credits, attempting 13 more this semester, so 47 by the end of this semester....

And will probaly take about 7 more in the summer.

Thats about 54credits, and about only 50, maybe even less transfer to the Univeristy I want to go to.

Plus I only took general education courses, because for a while I was unsure what I wanted to get a degree in.

I takes like 120 credits to graduate. But you really need like 140 to complete all the damn requirements that schools have.

By that time ill be like 23 almost 24 years old.
I want to become a cop. Nothing else really interests me. I didnt choose that right away because I didnt like the pay, but I kind of realized that im not much interested in anything else.

But this is taking for ever.

Should I just get and A.A.S. instead of trying to get a B.A. Plus I hate school, I just know I have to have it.
