Which of the following should I major and minor in?
-Molecular Biology
-Chemistry
-French
-Spanish

I have an interest for all of them. I am fluent in French but don't really want to major in it since I speak it. But how about Spanish?, I am taking AP Spanish lit(as a non-native) and I think Spanish is important and helpful. I am really good in Biolgoy and chemistry got 5 on Ap test on both of them. AP Calculus 3
-So what should I do?What's safe?
-What about a double major? Is it a risk?

I was thinking of the follwing
1. Major in Chemistry and Major/minor Spanish
2.Major in Molecular Biology and major/minor Spanish
3.Major in Spanish and Major/minor Molecular Biology

what is better number 1, 2, or 3?

Does college students have right to ask refund for bad classes? I am a college student, but some classes are just terrible. Professors are not prepared, speak too quiet and cannot hear at all, not organized at all so do not know what to do in the class, or the purpose of class is not clear at all. I do not learn anything from some classes, and I still have to pay thousands of dollars for them. I feel like the college stealing my money for nothing. Can students ask refunds for these terrible classes? We are students, and paying customer at the same time. Is strict riability law or something apply for this situation?

I've applied to a couple of schools in my area for my M.A. degree. One school has received my transcripts, GRE scores, reccomendation letters, everything. The other school hasn't received ANYTHING. The people who wrote my rec letters ended up sending multiple hard copies, and finally faxing the letters to the school. The GRE scores have not been received yet, and all of this has been going for about a month. I called the mailroom at the university, and even the undergraduate department to see if my papers were being held up there. Neither department could help. Any ideas?

I got accepted to both...but now i am in a lil dilemma.

I got accepted to UCSD for Winter 2008 while I got into UCSB for Fall 2007.

Pros/Cons for SD: It is ranked #3 out of the UC's. It has a good reputation. Difficult school to get into./ Because I was accepted for Winter 2008 (jan) I am not guaranteed on-campus housing and would most likely have to commute there/rent an apartment off campus. Some people say that for freshmen year you should live on campus. Also, I would be coming to school in Jan. and it may be more difficult in meeting people because everyone has already experienced the school at the beginning of the year. (during fall I would be attending a cc and transferring my credits)

Pros/Cons for SB: I am guaranteed housing for 2 years because I was accepted for Fall, beautiful school/ It is known to be a party school so that may be distracting and It is ranked lower than SD.

what do u think i should do?

im 26, office manager and married. but i want to be an artisit or something to do with the art industry. am i too old to go to college or even university to study and get a degree? im married so have financial responsabilities, how could i study, work and keep a house all at the same time? i have no children but at 26 want them sooner rather then later. how can i combine all of these and get the art degree and career i would love? before university i would have to do a one year pre-degree course to get me into university so would be studying for about 5 years!

also what is the best art job for bringing in the money once i have my degree in fine art? teacher, graphic designer or something else? help!!!

I want to become a veterinarian when i grow up.
But i also wanted to move to France.
If i get a college degree in the United States, would it still count if I did plan to actually accomplish my career in France?

I have heard of schools being "accredited". I am not really sure what that means. I assume it means that you can transfer the credits to other colleges. Are online colleges accredited?

I am a first year student at UCSB and have been doing the bio type major for the first couple of quarters but I have decided I do like chemistry and suck at it and want to do something in the social science department instead. Possibly a Psychology/Sociology tandem. But what I want to know is I have gotten 3 C's so far, 2 in chem, and 1 in calculus (2nd part of Calculus I raised to an A+) I want to go to law school and was wondering how much law school and other graduate schools factor in freshmen year and if I start doing well now, can I still get into a decent law school or graduate school? Thanx

I got into UCLA, UCSD, and Berkeley. I'm Pakistani, Muslim ( I don't know why you would need to know that, but oh well) and planning on majoring in double-majoring in Journalism and Political Sci/Mid-east Studies and possibly having a minor in Arabic.
Which school would be best for me? I want to go to a school that's diverse.
