I want to become a veterinarian when i grow up.
But i also wanted to move to France.
If i get a college degree in the United States, would it still count if I did plan to actually accomplish my career in France?

Yes. The US has the best university system in the world.

If you actually got a Vet degree in the US, you may need to go through some licensing procedure to practice in France.

Think about it this way, if you got a degree in france and wanted to work in the US, you'd probably need a second degree from the USA.
lol.
what the first responder said --- we have the best university system in the world (with respects to Oxford and Cambridge).

If you get a degree at a good school here, you can go work anywhere.

It's better to get your degree in France.

It's easier to get a student visa than a work visa, but once you're there you might get sponsored by an employer to stay on. Also, you can intern or work part time on your student visa.

For most professions, your degree would count, but because it is medical related they have their own system... they are required to recognize other European degrees, but not American ones (and with Eastern Europe in the EU, it's not that difficult to find a Vet).

It pains to admit it, notwithstanding that's the effortless actual. certain, very a lot so, yet do not forget that 'the minority' human beings colleges are extremely well worth the money invested in them. back: 'Minority'. -My father and mother despatched everybody siblings distant places for our entire preparation, as a lot as college, and that i'll by no potential thank them sufficient for that. college novices in united states study what my siblings and that i realized in Junior extreme college, and Pre-college entries we realized it in sixth grade trouble-free college. no longer an exaggeration, a sad truth. -Now that explains why 'Foreigners' are continually having the excellent grades and graduating college with honors. of course, they have realized maximum of it in trouble-free and Secondary colleges only as my siblings and that i did.
