Duke is the clear winner.
In NC, the best ones are Duke, UNC, Wake Forest and NC State. In the South, you also have Emory, Vanderbilt, Rice, Virginia, William & Mary, Clemson, Auburn and a number of decent state universities ranging from texas to Florida.
Try looking through Princeton Review's web site. They have a tool where youcan enter information about your background and interests. It then spits out a list of schools that are good for you.
You might also want to think about going away to school -- there are lots of great universities in the Northeast.
