College's High School Course Requirements?

Question

I'm entering ninth grade now. I was told to prepare for high school I should go online to some of the universities I might want to attend one day and see what their high school course requirements are. There's just one problem. I can't find anything on high school course requirements on several colleges. Does anyone know where onlne I can find the course requirements for Yale, Brigham Young University, Princeton, Harvard, and John Hopkins? Thanks!

I haven't been to those specific colleges, but I haven't been aware of any specific course requirements. They usually look for GPA, class ranking, and SAT/ACT scores over other things. They also want well-rounded volunteer and extra-curricular activities. It's probably a good idea to take as much higher math (calculus, trig.), english, and science as you can to prepare for college. And then take the things you are interested in. I've learned that when you get to college, it's a good idea to have an idea of where you want to go. If you start exploring your interests now, you will be more confident of your decisions later. Of course, you don't have to have everything figured out immediately. Have fun!

Take the most challenging courses offered at your school. Typically you need to take 3-4 years of math; 4 years of English; 3 years of science; 3 years of social studies; and 2 years of a foreign language.

You only need to worry about taking classes that are both interesting and challenging. The basic requirements (which will vary) are three years of math, three years of science(Biology, Chemistry, etc), four years of english, and two years of foreign language(not nessasarly ASL).
