This is a good one. How about HIPAA laws? Example: Say a doctor has a palm pilot that s/he carrys.
In this palm pilot s/he has stored info on all of their patients'. What if s/he loses the palm pilot?
When the palm pilot is found by an unscrupulous type; turns on the palm pilot and can access all of the medical information on the doctor's patients....is this a violation by the doctor of the HIPAA law?

How about this question:
Should a doctor be sued for making a mistake when that doctor was trying to save the patient's life?
It seems there might be some interesting argument from both sides of that ethical dilemma.

I always liked those "who do you save" dilemmas.
- the young child or your best friend?
- the school teacher or the fireman?
- the nation's president or your mother in law?
And then, the stopping disease, quarantine dilemmas. Search Ebola virus in the card catalog (recent history of Zaire, now Congo).
In New Orleans (during the recent flood) they apparently killed patients as a mercy killing... lots of online info available.

How about how prescription drug companies give doctors gifts/meals/free samples as a means of getting the doctors to prescribe their products. There have been several people who have complained that their doctors push a certain prescription drug even though there is no reason for it.
