As far as courses when they are from the same university and as far as types of jobs prospective employers would offer from either degree?

An MS in business is a specialized degree in some specific area of business, like finance, accounting, marketing, or business law. The MBA is a far more general degree that is typically earned by people who already have some business experience, do not necessarily have a bachelor's degree in business, and who wish to improve their credentials.

My sense is that a master's degree in a business specialty, especially one which involves the writing of a thesis, is the more respected of the two because it is considered vastly more scholarly and reflects strong dedication to research and study rather than merely the passing of courses. However, it is a very 'academic' sort of a degree, and some prospective employers might feel either intimidated or think that the degree-recipient doesn't have a good over-all feel for business.

im 14 years old and i love to watch donald trump's the apprentice. usually mba students are more intellectual students and are preffered by prospective employers
