I am an rad tech and have the opportunity to do a college based MRI program. It is a one year program, with 20 clincal hours a week. I am not sure there is a great demand for MRI like there once was, and if it is worth doing.

its real important that you get every continuing education credit that you can. what if you are needed , what if you could make more money and yes they are needed.

I would say SURE, its another thing to add to your resume. With the "baby boomers" getting to their old ages, the medical field is really the way to go. If anything being trained in both you are more of an asset the hospital or clinic you work at. You never know, they might help pay for some of the schooling!!
