All the girls in my class are so depressed about leaving high school. Am I weird for wanting to get out of high school and start the college lifestyle? I feel like college will be 10 times funner than my high school career.

You're probably right - I loved college, and I was very glad to leave high school behind. Don't worry about it.

No, college is great. The only thing about high school that some people might get upset about is that once you leave high school you lose touch with a lot of people. I'm a sophomore at college right now, and I'm only in touch with a couple of people that I went to school with.

But college is way better than high school

It's not weird - i was the same way, still am kind of. I'm about to finish my first year of college and haven't looked back yet. It all depends on your personal high school experience. Even if it was great, college is just so much better. Freedom!!!!!!

No; I feel the same way. I cannot wait to escape the immaturity and drama of highschool and get on with my life- meeting people and learning things that will benefit me in the long run. Yeah, I am going to miss the highschool parties and all my friends- but honestly cannot wait to GET OUT!

I think it is good to want to go to college. Ithink you will probably be more successful than your friends.
