While visiting Italy I have always heard people with a college degree referred to as "Dotore". I have a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations. Would I be "Dotoratto" in Italy? And if so, in what? Sciensa Huministica?

I am currently taking a one credit hour Physical Education class that is getting in the way of my work and class schedule. I am also transferring to a better school but i am afraid that if I drop this class it will negativly affect how the college will look at me. Do you think dropping the class will have a negative affect on my transcript? Should i drop it or just suck it up?

Most students fear tests, therefore when it comes to taking the ACT most will fail, or get a lower grade than others. Students ability should not be based on the test itself, but on the motivation that the student has in attending a college. For example; I myself hope to go to NMSU, but when I took the ACT I got a 18, when the requirement is to pass with a 21 or higher, so what if I am willing to do good in my college classes and those students who have passed the ACT and have been given the opportunity to go there do not take advantage of the courses like I would.

The question goes:
Some Latin American countries have been able to hold on to some degree of democracy as they adopt neoliberal economic policies but others have considerable difficulty in doing so. What experience during the last couple of decades demonstrate the truth of this claim and how is it possible to explain this diversity in the response to neoliberalism?

I never got good grades in middle school or high school. I was never motivated to do good. I never had the patience to sit down and study and there were always other things on my mind. Now, here I am in college (a community college) and i'm wondering if college is for me. I know I can do it if i had the motivation, but i just don't have it. I have that little voice in my mind saying "college is not for you." My cousin and uncles never went to college because they didnt have the patience for it either and they are making alot of money still... And I've always been the entertaining type with the good sense of humor... Alot of people tell me i should be in broadcasting school. My question is, should I drop out and try broadcasting school? Or should I stay in college and find ways to get more motivated? I havent even been going to class this week because i'm so confused about everything...

I'm looking for a college that would let me begin my classes in my major as soon as or withing one year after I enter the college. I don't want to waste two years learning a lot of information that doesn't apply to my major. Does anyone know of an accredited college that allows this?

I am in my second semester of my sophmore year, I was undecided in what I wanted to do with a major. I finally Decied to major in International Bussiness. But my university I am currently attending does not have IB as a major. The university I want to transferr too, you need to apply around a year ahead of when you want to go there.
There is state univeristy that also has IB as a major. I mean i don't mind to go there, but I would rather go to the university.
Should I stay where I am untill I am accepted till I get into the University i want to get into? Or should Transferr to the state university and get educated there until i get into The one I want? Or should I just stay where I am? ( Im so sorry if it is confusing!)

Luckily I have a counslers appt. but not for another two weeks! but i want to fill out applications incase i need to change.

I would really love any feed back! Thank-you!

I'm getting kind of antsy waiting to hear from a couple grad schools-I already interviewed at 4, but have heard nothing from like two of them (schools I did not interview at) since I submitted my application. Admittedly, it's probably not a good sign from those two schools, but I'd like to find out. Should I call and ask for my application status at those schools? Or do grad programs find that irritating?
