I am in my second semester of my sophmore year, I was undecided in what I wanted to do with a major. I finally Decied to major in International Bussiness. But my university I am currently attending does not have IB as a major. The university I want to transferr too, you need to apply around a year ahead of when you want to go there.
There is state univeristy that also has IB as a major. I mean i don't mind to go there, but I would rather go to the university.
Should I stay where I am untill I am accepted till I get into the University i want to get into? Or should Transferr to the state university and get educated there until i get into The one I want? Or should I just stay where I am? ( Im so sorry if it is confusing!)

Luckily I have a counslers appt. but not for another two weeks! but i want to fill out applications incase i need to change.

I would really love any feed back! Thank-you!

If you must transfer, I think you should put in your applications to transfer, for next year, to both the university and the state college. Apply to them both for the same term. Then, if you get accepted to the university, transfer. The state college can be your backup.

Do not transfer to the state college now, and spend time there while you wait for acceptance to the university. That would be a waste of time, and may not look very good on your application to the university. Better to stay where you are for now.

But do you really need to transfer? Other than the IB major not existing, is there anything else about your current school that would cause you to transfer? Are you happy there? If nothing else leads you to want to transfer, speak to the counsellor about the possibility of creating your own major. Many schools have such programs. You may be able to create your own IB major, if there are appropriate courses available. It's worth the question.
