med school is very expensive so unless you have lots of $$ or scholarships UCLA, but you need to be happy , its your education so if you like stanford more its better that you get what you want and aren't just going someplace only based on tuition. Also, Stanford is one of the top medical research schools which means better learning in my opinion, so i think you have a better chance of getting into a top med school for graduate stuff.
Also, why won't your college credits from hs go to stanford? you should talk more about it to an admissions person.
GOOD LUCK :-)

The quality of your undergraduate school is a determinant in getting into a good medical school. Both Stanford and UCLA are excellent schools -- but Stanford is the better one.

Getting through UCLA faster may not help you when you apply to medical school.

Unless you have a large scholarship to Stanford I would go to UCLA. Medical school is expensive and time consuming. Getting to start a year earlier, and with one less year of undergraduate expenses could really help. They are both great schools though so you really can't go wrong.

I'd go to UCLA. Where you get your bachelors won't really matter as you're gong to medical school (as long as it's an upstanding, accredited school, which Stanford and UCLA both are). And why make more work for yourself, since you've got plenty ahead of you with medical school?

The only thing you might want to consider is where you want to go to medical school. Some medical schools only accept students that went to their school for their bachelors as well, so make sure the medical school you wish to attend isn't one of these.
