To apply to the college I'm looking into, I need at least 4-6 months of food Service Experience. What is it, and how do I get it?

"Food Service Experience" generally means 4-6 months of working in a restaurant. You'll need to go wait tables...or work as a hostess...or as a line cook at a REAL restaurant. McDonald's generally doesn't count here.

Good luck to you!

Silver is right. I'd check into some of the area restaurants, but do not let them know you may have to leave to go to school (don't lie, but don't volunteer that info). I would check on a restaurant that has wait staff and find out if they would take you on.
