Hi, I was just wondering if anyone could possibly help me with the following 2 questions. I think I know the answers already just from my own experience when it comes to Defense Attorneys and Clients, but I just want to be sure since this assignment counts for a large portion of my grade. So as a defense attorney, what would you do under the following circumstances?

The first question is; Your client tells you that if you lose the case, his/her friends will harm your family?

The second question is; Your client insists on testifying, even though you believe that it is not in his/her best interest to do so?

im not sure where to apply to univeristy, i have the marks to go to oxford but i feel as though if i do apply to oxford my parents will think im trying to better my step sister (my family situation is weird one) and i feel that they will almost make fun of me and say that i will never be able to get there as in the past i wasnt the most academic of students. I dont know what to do as my dad still almost makes fun of me for my past and it really puts me down and makes me feel like im not good enough even to go to uni. What else can i do to get into oxford to almost make sure if i do apply ill get in because i don't want to prove my family right. Ive already done a list of things but i need more i feel.

I applied to a University but I don't want to go there anymore. I actually want to go to a different University but there is a SUPER SLIM chance of me getting in. So, if/when I don't get accepted into the college that i wanted to go into, is it an okay thing to wait a year and then applying to that same college? (the only reason there's a slim chance I'll get in this year is because my application is late AND i forgot to submit an essay along with it. I have a high GPA so if I submit it on time with everything next year then I'll definately get in.)

My first-choice school is George Mason University. I didn't know of this school until AFTER the application deadline for fall 2007, but I just found out that it's still possible to apply for it even though they will consider it for a space-abailable basis. So I took the chance and did it last night, but I have found out that I had not put in my essay with the online application!!!! I have just screwd up my chance of getting in Mason!!! Whyyyy amy I so stupid... If I had applied before the deadline I KNOW I would've got in with my high GPA, but now I'm doubtful both because it's late AND it doesn't have an essay!!!!!! I don't know what to do. I can't re-apply because that'll cost me another 50 bucks.. Do you think I still have a chance to get in if they see my GPA at least? maybe? or if I send my essay by mail (which they said that the essay MUST be sent w/the application online)? Will they disqualify it? I'm desperate to get in!!!!

I am looking for 3 student volunteers from Sinclair in Dayton, OH. I am in one of my last classes and I had to come up with a survey for BIS 160 students. So I am desperately searching for 3 people who have just finished BIS 160, that are willing to take the survey so that I can see if we are getting the information that we're looking for.
So if you have just finished BIS 160 or about to take it next quarter and don't mind taking my survey, please send me an email address or something that i can us to send you the survey.
This would really help me out, I need to pass this class and this is my project so it's a huge part of my grade.
Thank you!

because of donations- for- admission its hard for merit students to get into well known colleges and universities. even before entrance tests, seats are being alloted to rich students paying donations. is it fair to let merit down by practicing this?
