Residencies for pediatricians are three years in duration...medical school is four years. After a residency in pediatrics, it would be wise to pursue a pediatric fellowship. I don't know attending medical school part time and that is not an option with a residency program - so basically you're looking at about 7 years (unless you go for a fellowship).

I gave you length of time for medical school and residency - but don't forget you need premed first - that's typically a four year degree (although some people finish it in less actual time, some people more).

You got 4 years of medical school then you have to go through about 2-5 years of training for a specialty. Some doctors spend roughly about 5 years since they want to go into more detailed work of their field especially if you want to be a surgeon it can take about that long to complete the training that's along with the internship and residency.

MOST medical degrees take at least 8 years of schooling/internship. Four years of undergraudate work, then about 2 to 2.5 years of medical school. Then you have about 2 to 2.5 years of residency or internship. You're looking at a long process.

well, you graduate from med school, and then you do an internship, which I think covers all areas of medicine (not certain, though), and then a residency in the area of your choice (pediatrics). You're looking at probably a decade from starting your undergraduate degree to making any money, though
