I need to decide a major soon and i have no idea what i want to do for a living, but i do know that i LOVE every psychology class that i have ever had (about 4 classes). i dont think i could ever be a psychologist though, so would it be a waste of time, or a good degree to get under my belt?

The important thing to do is major in something you love-- I was a medieval history major, classical studies minor, and loved every second of it, even though I didn't learn many "marketable" skills or techniques (in something more mainstream, like business or finance). If you love what you're studying, you'll do better in your classes, and get more out of it. Employers typically want to see that you have in fact finished college-- that commitment is usually more important than what you studied. Who knows where your degree will take you? Mine landed me in library school, and now I'm a librarian.

it is a good option
I have a BS in Psychology, from Europe. Right now I`m in the States and I think that is a good thing for you to do.
In the actual society, more and more people will need to meet a psychologist. Also the implications of Psychology in the real life are very large... so you will have plenty options for your career.
Good luck!

If you like it and do good in the classes why do you feel you wouldn not be able to use it in the work force. There are many different fields when it comes to Psycology. What about Criminal psyc. You would be using your knowledge to assist in catching criminals. I think that would be neat. If a career in pyscology does not appeal to you at all then I would not major in it. It might be helpful to see what other majors or job positions consider a background in pyscology a must or benefit. Hope this helps. Good luck and good health to you!
