Well let's see there's Northwestern's school of Journalism, that's in Evanstan Ill. Columbia university in NYC, I think there's a good school of journalism in Missouri if I remember properly and two in Ontario, Canada the University of Western Ontario in London , Ontario and Carleton University in Ottawa Ont.

Don't know about Maryland, I would think Georgetown in Washington would have a Communications dept if not a school of Journalism.

Why not check with your guidance office, they SHOULD have that kind of info.

Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism in Evanston, IL and I think the University of Missouri-Columbia has a school of journalism that's well known too. If you're looking to save money I would attend a state school, but apply to as many places as you can because chances likely with higher scores and grades you can get into schools with a scholarship partial or full. Your real major is going to be english with a concentration in journalism. Writing for the school paper will give you experience many big papers are looking for. I've written for 3 student papers and currently preparing for professional standing.
