hello. i am considering my classes for junior year and the ones i have lined up are:
math anal calc a honors
korean 4
APenglish lang/comp
AP bio
AP chem ilove science!! =]
AP psych
us hist/geog CP

i am taking AP european history right now, and i really hate it but its bearable and am passing with an A in the class. and i know that if i take AP us history next year, iwill hate it but do okay, but i will always regret taking it throughout the year and stress alot.

so the question is: is us history a requirement in college? what do you guys think?

For instance, if I applied to a graduate university while I was a senior in an undergrad school, got accepted to the graduate university, and then after graduation from the undergrad school decided that I needed a year off to get some life experience, would the graduate university allow me to put my acceptance on hold?

Last year i failed out a university. so my parents and i decided that i should go back to community college. my first semester back i got a 1.45. i know i shouldnt have taken a hard course load but i thought i could handle it. now i decided that im going to take summer classes and stay and extra semester at school so i can bring my gpa up. the thing is i dont know where i should go back to school. i really dont want to go back to the university cuz im going to have to retake all of the classes i failed & thats only a waste of time. i really feel that i since i have a chance to start over i should go to a new state or place. so im trying to decided what i should do. Another problem i have is i have bad credit and im in debt. currently right now i am working two jobs so i can try and pay off 20,000 dollars i owe. What other things do you think will help me get back in? Has anyone else ever failed out of college before & how did they survive\?

I'm 21 and this is my fourth year of college. I am trying to get into a nursing school of my dreams... i was in a nursing program fall of 2006, but i left it to see if i had the chance to pursue the school of my dreams that i intentionally wanted to go to four years ago. It turns out that i recieved a letter today that i didn't meet the requirements for the program which just killed me to read the letter... now, i have no idea where to go from here... i'm lost. Should i still try to get into another nursing school, go back to the last one or just change my major??? HELP!

Hi. So far I have been accepted into Cal Poly and SDSU. I was accepted into Cal Poly as an english major because I thought it would be easier for me to get in as an english major (which worked) and to SDSU for an electrical engineering major. I want to major in Electrical Engineering at Cal Poly but Ive learned that it is really hard. Is it really very difficult to change majors at Cal Poly. And hows UC Irvine, i havnt gotten in there but hopefully I will.

I recently decided to return to school after taking a few years off. Mostly because of health reasons. My first two years of college went really well, then when i had my daughter i decided to go back but i could not manage taking 18hrs and working and taking care of her. Needless to say it caused my gpa to drop drastically. Now I want to return so that I can pursue a career in nurising so that I can eventually become a CRNA. I have been taking one class a semester but it does not seem to be helping. Now that I am more focused and that my study habits are better I want to know if I should take more courses to raise it quicker or take my time? I am only 23 so I have time but I really want to hurry up and graduate.

Either creative writing or English with a concentration in creative writing. I know of some colleges that offer this, but how do I know which programs are strong?

I have had all my replies back from the Universities I have applied for this year.

In particular there is one that has given me a conditional offer 'Obtaining a Pass overall and grade C in Maths'. The thing about this is that it's nearing the end of the actual year and there is no way I can take the maths exam again before September.

I will be applying as a Mature student (if that counts for anything). Do you think they will still let me in if I gain a pass/merit in the course I am doing and take my maths exam within the Uni?

I am going to give them a call anyway and see, but I'd like to hear your views on this first.

Thank you for looking. I have a couple questions on becoming a lawyer. I currently only have my g.e.d. what would be the best route to take if I want to become a lawyer? I am currently in community college majoring in business, should I change my major to pre-law? Are there any good law schools here in C.A.? Are there any law schools that will accept an online degree? Please post your comments, all are appreciated. Thank you

I have gotten emails and letters from many prestigious colleges of engineering, especially in the Ivy League. I'm interested in chemical, mechanical, automotive, and test engineering, but don't know which one to choose. Could anyone give suggestions on picking the right college?
