hey could i make it to UCi with a 3.3 gpa. This isn't that strong but i improved yearly because i slacked off sophmore year. Also i have good ecs. I got a 2.9 gpa soph and 3.7 right now in Jr year

Depends on what your extracurriculars were man. if you did like a sport along with clubs (academic club), leadership skills, and community service then you might just make it. The UC's like to see improvement and the fact that you brought your grade up to a 3.7 is actually a plus. You need to have strong essays for your personal statement too. I think if you elaborate on your improvement it would you'd have a pretty good chance.

I hope you have some extra currics, but the key is going to be your SAT score.

UCI admitted me and I had a slightly lower GPA (I admit to being lazy in high school). Extra currics weren't that special. I got in to the UCs that I did mainly due to my SAT score.

while you're already admitted to UCI and signed your SIR, and on your final semester you won no longer something much less of an B-, you are going to be advantageous. many colleges comprehend that final semester is far less aggressive, so as long as you have all B's, you're set.
