There are 3 main ways to do it in the US. Transferring from outside the country is hard because becoming a pharmacist is really different depending on which country you're in.

To be a pharmacist in the US, you need to go to pharmacy school to get your Pharm.D. This is a grad school, which you take after the bachelor level.

Technically, however, you don't need your bachelors for a pharm school to accept you. However, it's become so competitive now, that the overwhelming majority will have a bachelors degree before they start pharm school.

There are prepharmacy requirements you need to finish before you can start pharmacy school. This happens at the college level.

Ok, the 3 main ways to to this, starting with the most common:

1) Get your bachelors degree at a university, then go to pharmacy school.

2) Apply to pharmacy school from high school, go to the school's undergraduate (bachelor level) school for 2-4 years doing your pre-pharm coursework, and then start pharmacy school afterwards. May not finish your degree. Not all schools have this.

3) Finish your pharm school pre-reqs (either at community college or a regular 4 year university) and apply straight to pharm school without ever finishing your degree.

The more prestigious your undergrad school, the more impressive your grades look compared to someone who didn't go to as prestigious a school. Otherwise, it really doesn't matter what undergrad you go to.

You got to take your prePharmacy courses, and they vary by college.
A slight majority of students, overall, still do not get a bachelors. They take 2-3 years for prePharmacy. In a couple of states, like California though, a bachelors is a defacto requirement.
The next group get a bachelors and then transfer in.
The smallest number get accepted into a 6 year program out of high school.
