I went to school and got my degree in CJ. But had a baby and change my whole idea on becoming a cop...What other options do I have...

You could try working in corrections or in court.
There are LOTS of things you can do.
Choose one.

Go back to school and pursue a career in investigation, or you could go into management of law enforcement. I'm assuming that because you have a child now, you feel that being a police officer on the street would be endangering your life. This could be true, but I'm sure there are plenty of guys on the force who have kids. Hell, there's guys in Iraq who have kids. Do your duty.

What about working in prisons, or in criminal court, or in the parole system? There are lots of jobs from clerks, bailiffs, secretaries, guards, to administrators, counselors, parole officers, etc. Some you might be qualified for now, others you might need to go back to school for.

paralegal or go to law school or get into something tech related, like start a small business and become an expert to take care of peoples identify theft problems (you could probably work from home alot on that one)
