I currently study nutrition science at a german elite university, and "only" pay 600 Euros in tuition. I plan my future life in the US, because I am engaged to an american citizen. After my B.Sc., should I do my Master's course at a University in the US? I know its expensive over there, but I'll learn the necessary vocabulary. Would I have better job opportunities in the US with an education from a (average) US university or a german elite university?

In college, do you have to give a public presentation of a project/assignment in every single class you ever take in college?
Because I get really nervous speaking in front of a class with all those eyes watching me. And then I just go blank! OMG so embarrassing! :(
So do you have to do that in all college classes? :(

I am working on my Bachelor´s Degree in Nutrition Science right now. I don´t really have any practical experience in that field, except of two 4-6 week internships in a laboratory. Should I start with my Master´s Course right after receiving the B.Sc., or would it be better to get some work experience first? What do employers prefer?

Hi there! I am a Canadian resident and I completed my undergrad degree here in 2000. I am now considering grad school in the USA. Sororities are not that common in Canada so I was hoping for some American opinions. Is there value in joining a sorority at the graduate level? What does being a member of a sorority actually accomplish? Which sororities have the best reputations? I am considering studying at the University of Maryland at College Park. Any additional information about sororities and grad students would be great! Thank you!

Well I have recently made the decision to go back to school part time and work towards a master's degree in business. I didn't know you had to take a test to even get it....I guess it's called the GMAT?
I downloaded this practice software from the GMAT web site, and I am really floored at the questions....I tried taking the math portion, and I was stumped right from the very beginning! I guess that's what happens when you've been out of school for 4 years!

Myself and 14 other collge students have been choosen to travel to the southern region of the US and visit different places that were important in the fight for civil rights. We have received a numerous amount of money from our University (cal poly pomona) and are putting in our own money. We need 7000 dollars more though. What can we do to raise this money in about 2.5 months? Any suggestions would help. Thanks alot.

I graduated in 06 and live in nj. i did one semester of community college and plan to do the spring semester. I can deal with the boring school but these winters are killing me. Me and a friend are looking to save money this summer and move to either florida or california next fall to seek better opportunities. However, the one thing keeping me here in nj is free schooling. If your a good student, nj will pay for 2 years of community college and then tuition for 2 years to a state school. Theres really no school in nj that catches my eye. Im looking to go for psychology and ive heard bad things about schools in florida. ive also heard that schools are cheap in california? Maybe doing another year of community college after the move would be smart? i know a lot of my friends are already hurting from debt. Any information, since i know next to nothing about schools outside my state, would be helpful.

My friend was dropped FROM her classes (by the professors) because she did not attend them- there is a reson behind this but I dont have enough characters to explain it, LOL.

If you are dropped from your classes do you get an automatic F? Or it just doesnt count and you are left responsible for payin for it?

I am studying History at University of North Texas, and I am working on getting enough upper level classes to finish up. I took a history class and got a D. Now I know that it wouldn't count towards my 30 advanced History credits, but I think I might be able to apply it as an elective.
