In college, do you have to give a public presentation of a project/assignment in every single class you ever take in college?
Because I get really nervous speaking in front of a class with all those eyes watching me. And then I just go blank! OMG so embarrassing! :(
So do you have to do that in all college classes? :(

Not in every class, unless you're in communications or journalism, then you would have plenty of opportunities - LOL. For all majors, I'm sure that there's an opportunity here and there to present a paper you wrote or some research you did, but not every class:-)

But take heart, it's difficult the first few times, but then it gets easier and easier. Yes, it can be embarrassing, but it's a GREAT skill, especially when it's time for building your resume.

Good luck

Yes, especially at the graduate school every lecturer expects to see a presentation. Otherwise how do you give out what you learnt to other people once you leave college. At the work place you will be expected to make several presentations concerning the department you head. The aim of these presentations is to instill confindence in you and remove such nervous feelings, and so the more they are the better for you.

Im majoring in business management and the only time Ive ever had to speak in front of the class was 1) for my Public Speaking class; and 2) for my Introduction to Business class. Aside from that Ive never had to get up and speak in front of my classmates.

As an undergraduate, I rarely had to do presentations. As an MBA student, it was very common.

Fear of public speaking is common. When I was in High School, I nearly had a panic attack when I spoke in ront of my whole school. But as I went through college, my fear of speaking publicly vanished & I find it very easy to do now.

Just breathe -- and remember that they are there for the same reason that you are -- to learn new things.

It depends on a lot of things; your professor, your major, the class, the college, etc...

I have made a lot of presentations in my college career. I still get nervous. But, remember, your audience is not going to care if you get nervous and mess up. They all know and understand what nerves can do.

DON'T LET YOUR NERVES KEEP YOU FROM GOING TO COLLEGE! If you want to go, GO! Most professors are very understanding of nervous conditions. Just go talk to them about your presentation and stage fright. It is not a big deal.

No, not in every class you take. I think it is inevitable that you WILL have to make one, if not SOME. I am like you- I get really embarrassed and nervous, but you learn to get through. :) Don't let it sway you from taking certain classes. I know it doesn't sound like you will, but you will get through it. :) Best of luck.

Not all of them, but some....It also depends on the professor, so check with other people to know how the class is taught.

nope, some paper does though depend on the paper subject =) I think you should check on paper outline before you join the paper.
