I currently study nutrition science at a german elite university, and "only" pay 600 Euros in tuition. I plan my future life in the US, because I am engaged to an american citizen. After my B.Sc., should I do my Master's course at a University in the US? I know its expensive over there, but I'll learn the necessary vocabulary. Would I have better job opportunities in the US with an education from a (average) US university or a german elite university?

I would advise , checking the international college rankings, for you to get an idea how the average US universities compare with your college.

To get a job in the US having a good command of english is almost essential- which you seem to already have.
Studying in US to improve it further may be better than studying in a german college.

It would be better to get an American degree if you plan on working and living in the USA. Unfortunately tuition rates here are completely out of control, and they are even more expensive for non-resident students. On the other hand if your school in germany is recognized in the USA then it shouldn't be a problem. Just make sure your master's there equals a master's here.

Wie gehts? You might consider coming here to Cardiff where we have a lot of German students and they finish their Masters in only one year, and they get discounts for being European!

And this is a good place to hear every kind of English accent, including America -- the highest number of Americans living outside the North America live within 2 hours drive of my university. London is two hours west by train (they run every hour), so it's alot cheaper here than in London!

I am not an American but I hear America is where everybody gets what he/she deserves. You go there work hard you are sure not to sterve. Not in any other country where I have heard of an equal compensation to hardwork.

Go ahead and master from a US univesity I have two friends who went there and are now smiling all the way to he bank.

Stick with the German education... U.S. colleges are a century behind European colleges and Universities. Most U.S. colleges and Universities, teach CRAP!! I should know, I earned three PhD's and a Master's degree from them!!
