Ok, I suugest that you should research on the factors that make the Asian's logical-mathematical intelligence always stronger than other people in the world, espcially in America. Resaerch proves that the Asian students' achievment in math is very great compared to other people in the west. I think that this will be a good topic.

Round about July 2007, the One Laptop Per Child project and Government of Thailand is going to provide $100 - $150 laptop computers to thousands of school children in Thailand (and Brazil and Argentina with other countries later).
They are designed to be used at school in a wireless network and taken home to be used for homework. They use very cheap electronic hardware and free software.
The idea is so that kids in low income countries can get a good education, experience of computers and access to thousands of free electronic books, programs, music, web-pages, the internet, etc.
You might look at the social impact :-
How does it change what job they want to do?
Will rural kids want to go and live in a high-tech city, leaving elderly parents behind and villages deserted?
Where else it might be useful?
Is it good way to spend money compared with books?
Does it divert money from other kids? (should the money be spent on books for a lot mmore kids instead of on computers).
Would you and your friends want one of these computers if you lived there?
