I will be having a major in Biology. But for a minor I was thinking Spanish because I love it and I am really good at it and it is really important. But I know others who major in Biology but who minor in like psychology, sociology. So is a Spanish minor good(I know I will have an A in Spanish and learn a lot)? or will medical school not be impressed?

Not too many people minor Spanish and go to med school right?

I am a sophomore.
unweighted GPA 3.6
weighted 4.3
started Janitor's Assistants Club
assistant coach sisters softball team
probably end up having about 100 hours of community service
i have only taken by PSAT and scored higher than 71% of college bound juniors. I figure I could get it up to about 90% next year. Thanks

Im saying majoring in Biology could be bad due to the number of applicants with a major in Biology applying to med school. But I love biology and I am really good at it. So should I stick with it? Med schools wont frowned on me and say"another biology major..." would they?

It's happened to me twice now...both times it was a leftist professor who wanted to indoctrinate his/her students into an anti-American way of thinking...I refused to buy into the propaganda, and so on the final paper (worth a very large percentage of the final grade) they used the inherent arbitrariness of assigning a grade to a paper to give me a very low grade, which prevented me from getting an "A" in each of these classes...I am sick of it!!!

It seems like to me that we pay thousands upon thousands of dollars just for books that are cheaper else where, because when you think about it what do you learn in college that you couldnt learn on your own.

I am interested in becoming a lawyer in the future. I would like to Georgetown or Columbia for my undergrad, but I think it may be too expensive. Does your undergrad school matter? What motivated you to go to law school? What kind of characteristics do you need to possess to be a good lawyer? Thank you for all of you who take the time to answer my questions.
