Some of my friends did not study that hard for the exam and did much better than I could imagine. I do not fit into that category (even though I did well in those classes) so I had to study much harder. The best advice is to take a few practice tests in the same manner that they are given on the actual test day and see how you would score. The Kaplan course did not help me at all, but I started looking at the Exam Kracker books and those are amazing! They don't look like they'd be very helpful because they're so thin but they only give information that will be on the test and not everything out of textbook! The practice tests also had several questions I found on my actual MCAT (something I didn't see with my Kaplan books). Basically, it's a lot of information and since it had been a couple of years since I had taken some of the classes I had to do a lot of review. It's much easier learning it the second time, but repitition is key! My first score on a practice test was a 6 on every section and with studying I scored a 10 on biological sciences, 11 on VR, and 8 on PS (I hadn't taken physics at that point). Good luck!
