I need to go to a good school but also one that is at the heart of london. i want to really get to know the city.

Check out the university listings on the Guardian (www.guardian.co.uk/universityguide2006 ) or Times websites. They can tell you the rating for each department so you can compare it to others. Also Westminster's main campus is actually in Harrow, so check that your course is offered at the central London ones, Regent St. etc.

Both my brother and I studied there and they were proficent enough, but I have studied at better :)

Like all universities, Westminster will be good for some areas of study, but not for others.

No, I don't think its highly rated. I wouldn't go. UCL is in the heart of London, so is King's College
