Higher Education (University +) - January 2007

I need to find a nice, prestigious University that not only is good but has a very nice campus and is in a very nice city or nice part of a city. Thanks :)

from what Ive read on here people dont really dress up there its a small enviormentally focused school what should i wear? Im too scared to ask them

i live in south korea and the reason i am writing here is to ask about some complicated things which i guess you guys might have had once . here is the tip.
i am attending the university in pusan which is located near the east sea( most people know it as "THE SEA OF JAPAN") . and you know, it is not famous or great school like HAVARD and it is in the local area , not capital city SEOUL .
when i after graduate i will have to find my job to live and want it to be better than other ones . i am interested in the accounting so i am going to take a test which is held by country and it is so hard .
but that 's not the thing i am most worried about .
i am so afraid of the fact that company prefer applicants who graduated schools in SEOUL and they even throw away the appications of people who graduate local school in the worst case.
i don't know if it is true or not.. but if it is true , what i am gonna do?? .. and you guys who are going to the local school would have same problem me.

My major in college is Biochemistry, and I plan to either be a doctor or an optometrist....but everyone needs a backup plan... what should my other carreer options be as a biochem major?? What else could I do with that degree?

I have an essay to write for the college I want to attend and I have no idea were to start. Here is the essy topic:

Many students expand their view of the world during their time in college. Such growth often results from encounters between students who have lived different cultural, economic, or academic experiences. With your future growth in mind, describe a potential classmate that you believe you could learn from either within or outside a formal classroom environment.

Several years ago not as many people went to college. It was also cheaper too. Now more and more people are going to college and tuition just keeps increasing. Would college be cheaper if less people were going?

i have a 3.13 weighted gpa with a 1880 SAT (590 verbal, 620 math, 670 writing). I have around 50-60 volunteer hours and and taken only 2 ap classes. i will be a bio major. which colleges do i have a shot at? (cali only please)

I am a worried teen (17). I currently home school & will be done within the next 5 months.

I'm not sure what I want to go to college for (another problem)
I then have to look at college but a) how hard is it to get into college with a diploma from an online high school program?
b)will i have to take classes to be accepted into college?

Lastly, how difficult is college? I honestly do not feel I'm ready for the academic level of college. I'm worried that it will be far too difficult.

Can it be considered "vengeance"?

I am supposed to write an essay on Roger Chillingworth from Nathaniel Hawthorne's 'The Scarlet Letter.'

I want my main focus (like the keyword to sum up my paper) to be "vengeance," but the prompt we were given is to "Describe the nature of evil that slowly consumes Chillingworth."

Would making my focal point Chillingworth's seek for vengeance be appropriate for this prompt? Like, can vengeance be considered that "nature of evil?"Thanks for any helpful input anybody has, I appreciate it!
