Hi! It depends what type of nurse you want to become.
RN = Registered Nurse
LPN = Licensed Practical Nurse
RCA = Resident Care Aid/ Nursing Assistant

They all have prerequisites for the course. You can obtain this information at the school of your choice. Each nursing position has a differnent role. Look into what those roles are and what it is you want to do. You can also obtain this information at the school of your choice in brochure form.

* You can make an appointment with the school and attend a free career decision making course. It is usually for a couple hours for 1 day.

*Before taking a nursing program, you need to decide wihich nursing position you want!

definitely apply to different schools that offer nursing programs and apply for nursing scholarships. then ask for a degree plan, which will list the classes that you will need to get your degree (basically what the first person who answered your questions said). good luck!

You usually have to attend a nursing program and there are different prerequisite classes at every school. contact whatever school you're planning to attend and they can send you the degree plan.

not being sure of what courses to take can be some of the stress in college. But after taking the placement test, it determine what kind of courses you need to take. But at all colleges they have course curriculum which contain all the required courses you need to take in order to received you degrees.
