I have never cheated but I wouldn't feel guilty, if I didn't do as well as I do in school maybe I would consider it since I know how important that degree will be to my future. I would be afraid though because your entire education could be gone because of one slip up if you're caught. What about when you need to apply what ypu've learned in the real world and you can't because you never really learned it in the first place?

No I've never cheated on an exam. I would be too afraid of getting kicked out and having all my years of hard work crumbling around me because of a dumb decision.

I wouldn't feel very bad about the act though, mostly because how I think about things in my field doesn't lend itself very well to taking timed exams (I'm very methodical in how I approach things, and it can sometimes take many steps to eventually find a solution but I always find one; this method has actually led to me publishing papers, but I still don't do well on inclass exams because my problem-solving style doesn't lend itself to quickly seeing the trick involved). Ultimately, the only thing that matters is what you know and what you don't know, and not what some stupid 50 minute exam says you know. Exams are terrible indicators in almost every nontrivial situation.

I have NEVER cheated on an exam, unfortunately I know a lot of people who do. In college the professor usually relies on the students own conscious to deter them from cheating.

The problem with cheating is that you aren't cheating anyone but yourself. You are now paying for this education in college. Why waste it by not studying and learning the things you are there to learn?

I know people who have been dismissed from universities for plagiarism and/or cheating on exams. That is a very scary and embarrassing consequence.

No and I don't intend to because when I go for jobs they'll expect me to be really good at something I'm crap at. As mad as it may sound your teacher was right, you shouldn't of been cheating because at the end of the day your only cheating yourself. Well its only an exam at the end of the day its not the end of the world I suppose;'0

I'm not in college yet, but yes I have cheated and I've gotten caught.. but now I understand where I went wrong. If you're gonna cheat you have to make it look like you're not cheating. What I'm saying is teachers will look in places that she/he would expect people to cheat.. (example: I punched my brother cause he was pissin me off, and he ran out of the room, 10 minutes later I cooled down and figured he'd run off. Anyway I went to look for him, and I couldn't find him anywhere.. turns out he was asleep on the couch.. all this because I expected something different) So when you're cheating (cause god knows you will) only look up at the teacher when you're about to look at anothers test, or passing it back and fourth, and don't constantly look up to see if he/she is looking when you're copying. Just act like you would if you were taking the damn thing

I've never cheated. Only idiots cheat. I was usually the guy
everyone wanted to sit near during the exam. It was so damn
annoying having to hide my paper all the time.

I have never cheated on a test in grade school, high school, college or grad school.

You should not do it either. There are other ways that it can harm you besides getting caught.

I have never cheated and I am never going to, but if I did I would feel really guitly... if were you I would consider not doing it and studying instead, and if you think that you are going to get caught you should confess before you are found out. Good luck!

Absolutely not. How humiliating that would have been! Besides, losers cheat. I'm not a loser.
