He loves the operation of computer but does not want to write software, build or design hardware. What type of job should he be looking for in the computer field.?

Most of the jobs in the computer field involve writing software or designing and building hardware. However, especially in California, people are always needed at companies who are knowledgeable about computers. One area to consider might be sales. Companies need reps who know their products and how they can be used. One possibility aside from work might be grad school, where he could further specialize and learn more about his specific field of interest.
