I have the thing where you can plug in the red, white, and yellow cords into it from a PS2, DVD player, Dreamcast, and VCR and you just press the button for which one you want to use. And I have the white cable cords but the DirecTV receiver is using black cords. Help, please. :-)

I have a GE 27 inch tv model GE 27GT616 it suddenly lost power last night and won't turn on. I tried turning it on with the button on the tv and nothing and it won't turn on with the remote. It had this color flickering in the middle of the screen for a while it was about an inch tall, then nothing. If I press the remote the tv clicks and clicks. Thanks in advance for your help.

Growing up i didnt have a bedroom so my parents gave me the wood for a shed and told me that if i wanted it to build it....When my great-grandma passed in 2003 i got her OLD panasonic in wood paneling. It was built in april of 1984. Also i have a 2.2 inch tv and a five inch. With the digital switch will i be able to still get the basic stations?

The five inch was purchased two years ago and the 2.2 inch has been around for about five years.

this morning, it was working just fine. but when i got home, pressed the "power" button on the remote, all it's got on its screen is the channel display.
i tried pressing the "menu" button, it and the rest of the buttons on the remote won't work!
also, it's hard to turn off. if i don't shut off the power COMPLETELY from the electric cord, the LCD itself turns on and off , continuously!!!!!! HELP HELP please!!!

I have ordered both tvs. They are EXACTLY the same price $899 + tax. The Samsung is from Fry's, but it is on backorder and the Panasonic is available for pickup at Best Buy right now. I'm trying to decide which order to cancel. What do you think?

As much as I know, LCDs are not good at good contrasts. And blacks have a hazy tone. CRT is very good at contrast and black. What about Plasma and new technology OLED?

I have a small hand held 3.5" screen television that works on batteries. It is at least 5 years old. Do I have to throw it away when the new digital signal is put into place? I also have another larger B&W 8" one that we use for electrical blackout emergencies. It is also at least 5 years old.
