Need other codes for my Innovage Universal Remote?

The Innovage Universal remote that I had purchased, both the dvd codes they have in the manual (173 & 183) for my Magnavox dvd player do not work, do you know of any other codes I could try?

Get a better DVD player and start over. Or research codes on the net for your remote.
