ok, well, this may seem a little confusing, but i've always wondered. i have a Kodak EasyShare camera. well, you know how in music videos, how they switch scenes, one second they'll be walking through a club, the next second they're in an empty room by themselves... im trying to make a video, and wanted to know if its possible to do that with a Kodak EasyShare..i cant figure out how to? does anyone get what i mean? if so, please answer, im dying to know this.

my canon SD600 wont turn on and i went to radio shack and they checked the battery and that wasnt it... so i am looking for a place that can fix it cheap for me. radio shack will send it out for $20 plus what ever it cost to fix it. the only problem with that is i paid $250 on the camera itself and i dont have the money to keep spening for my camera. ive only had it for three months.

also
i have the warrenty but stupid me forgot to send it out... do you think it is to last to send it? if not do you think i could send it in then would they fix it for free?

i am only 15 so since im not old enough for a job where i live its hard for me to get money and fix my camera which i cant stand not having.

please help me

I saw the review on www.dpreview.com and the Canon had much sharper image quality. I was wondering if it were possible to sharpen the image of my Nikon D80 to the sharpness of the Canon Rebel XTi's sharpness?

Hi;

I’m about to get a new digital camera.
I currently owe a SONY DSC-H1 which is kind of big for me.
So I’m between a SONY W90 and CANON DS900.

What I like about the W90 is the price ($100 less) and the image stabilization feature.
It also has ISO 3200 compared with ISO 1600 of CANON.

In the other hand, the DS900 has 2 more mega pixels, but lacks on IS, and I read a couple of reviews saying that the zoom motor is noisy and tend to get broken. Is this correct?
Also the CANON has double screen resolution than SONY, 230k pixels against 115k.

Other than that they share pretty much the same characteristics.

What do you think?
Is ISO 3200 a clear advantage over ISO 1600? Why?
Is image stabilization really necessary in these types of camera with only 3x zoom?
Is the zoom motor in the SD900 noisy and tend to break?

Which one would you pick?

Thanks

I'm thinking of getting a Canon Powershot SD800 IS. It's got all the great features I want, plus the compact size. Problem is, it doesn't have a Creative zone (Av, Tv, and P), so I can't manually adjust the aperture and shutter speed. The manual mode for this camera automatically adjusts both.

I just wanted to know how else I can manipulate depth of field and blurriness of pictures other than having to manually adjust, like I used to do with my previous camera. Thanks!

P.S. I really need some serious answers 'coz I'm already having second thoughts about purchasing this model. I'm torn between Powershot SD800 IS (Pro: Compact size means I can take pictures anytime, anywhere, which is my point in getting a camera; Con: No creative zone) and Powershot A570 IS (Pro: Creative Zone, for some times when I feel artsy; Con: Bulky)

What is an all around good digital camera?

One that is reasonably priced, user friendly and will help a photography illitterate user take near-professional pictures?

It is to be used for anything and anywhere, like a spirit of the moment kinda thing.

Additionally it will be used with an Apple computer

So I am going to Brazil for a year and I wanted to get a cheaper camera because I figured that something will happen to it while I am there (Stolen). I have 200 dollars and was looking for something maybe a little less than that even. ISO is nice and good pictures would be good. what do you think?
