My usb cord, the place where it goes into my camera won't go in, i think its broken or bent, someone told me to use a card reader/writer? what is it and how does it work?

the cameras memory card goes into the reader/writer and either reads the photos to the computer or writes them to the memory card - it also hooks into the usb port on your computer - some are corded and some not

Card reader allows you to excess and save data into the memory card.
you insert your memory card into the card reader then you ll get instant excess into your memory card.
