Look for NMHi rechargeable batteries with a minimum of 2500mAh rating. Higher is even better.

You can get them at any place that sells digicams, like Circuit City or Best Buy, or, go to an on line specialist such as thomasdistributing.com. (look it up- I don't want to provide the link as I think it violates YA protocol)

Get rechargeable batteries! They are the best for digital cameras. I had the same problem myself until I got them, I and now I have had the same set of batteries for about 2 years.

Try using rechargable batteries, that will probably save you time, money, and batteries, although rechargable are a little bit more than regular batteries when you first purchase them, they will pay for themselves like when they go dead and you don't have to go buy more batteries!

This seems to be problem with digital camera. Many people are complaining that with little use, the batteries drain too fast. Maybe these thing use more current than the batteries can supply.

Remove the battery from the camera when not in use. The battery power will be drained whilst on the camera. trust me.
