That is a very small card. I wouldn't say more than 10-12 photos if that.
I have a 256mb card and that holds about 30 photos. depending on size and settings I use.
I honestly didn't know they came that small.

Earl D's answer correct if the camera doesn't compress the image, as in RAW mode. If your camera is set to shoot in jpg, then the files will be compressed and more images can then be stored.
I have a Canon 20D 8MP DSLR. Typically, in large jpg mode, a single image will use a just under 3MB. So, on an 8MB card I would be able to store 2 images. If I shot in RAW mode, I wouldn't be able to store even one.
The answer really depends on the file size that your camera stores. Some cameras allow different compression settings. The higher the compression, the more files that can be stored at a given resolution. The disadvantage of higher compression is more noise in the final image.

it depends on how many magapixels your camera is. The higher the megapixels, the less photos it will dtore, b/c more megapixels take up more memory space.
