What kind of camera do you have?
If it's very old, don't bother repairing it. Get a new one.
It should cost at least $50 to $150 to repair it.
If you have just a regular family digital camera, then don't bother.
Ask more questions about what type of camera you are looking for.
Decide which camera to get and then go to pricegrabber.com to get the best prices.
My perferences are:
Brand = Canon (solid and reliable)
Retailer = Newegg.com and Buy.com (fast and reliable)
Always use your American Express to purchase electronics, they will extend your warranty for upto additional 1 year.
It happen to my DVD recorder, it broke after 1 year. I called AE and was told that they will either replace it, repair it, or give me cash back. A few days later, they credited my card for the full purchase amount. I thought they were going to repair it. It turns out even better, I used that money and got something better.

hey go to service center or at least ask them .. if u feel price is too high then u should buy a new digicam
DONT TAKE IT 2 LOCAL REPAIRERS / QUARKS OR THEY WILL FOR SURELY F U C K up ur cam
