Like windows computers, Mac computers also requires to clean it's Internet cache and junk files?If so how?Is there any free cleanup software for Mac?

I recently updated my computers BIOS,after i compeleted doing it my computer did not boot up.
I must have downloaded worng BIOS. I have the back up of my old BIOS in a floppy disk.My first boot device is my cd drive.Can you please give me the detailed procedure to correct this problem and bring my computer back to normal. The company of my mother board is
> GIGABYTE
>MODEL number: GA-8LD533
I downloaded the upzip file from gigabytes website which had a similar name of that of my Model number. Even then my system became unbooted.
I dont have any reset button in my mother board.

Can you please pls help me to bring my computer back to normal.

with this. I tried to backup an already burned (unprotected) copy of Stomp the Yard, and 42% into the backup, it froze and a message popped up that said:

Failed to Read drive
Data Error (cyclic redundancy check)

I've been using DVD Shrink since early '06 and I think that usually means that I just have to simply clean the disc. I tried doing it like five times, and it still didn't work. The next day I tried it on a laptop, and it stopped and displayed the message at 72%. I've also tried AnyDVD and CloneDVD, and it still didn't work. Can anyone suggest or recommend what I should do.

I have a windows XP sp2. It has downloaded win updates and suggests me repeatedly to install updates. how can I stop it suggesting me? perhaps I do not want to instal some of the updates!

A couple of times in the last couple of months I've come to my computer and found that it has rebooted. Power outage doesn't seem likely as e.g. my clock radio time is not off. (This computer does start up again as soon as power returns.)

Does WinXP keep any kind of log indicating whether the shutdown was unexpected, or compelled by some process?
