there is spyware " video ActiveX access" in my program files which is causing so much advertisment popping up and i need to delete it from my program files EXCEPT it will NOT let me.. i do not know what to do

Which is on the formatting toolbar. In MS Word they have this option. I would think that since they are identical in their text formatting, that they would include something as simple as a custom color. This also includes "more colors" option for "fill" and "highlight," and basically everything else having to do with color. Can you tell I'm not you basic black and white print out girl?? lol Thanks!!

I got my ipod nano wet !!!!!!!?
ok i was washing my hands and i yank my head bak and my nano gets into the water! well anyways t was working for awhile with the occasional spi wheel sound going out of control so i turned it off and thought everything was ok. so i put it up and a few minutes later it was dead! so i put it on my ihome and pressed play and it made squeeky watry noises. i took it off and stood it up for a minute. then i figured that the computer might know what and how i could fix it. well it did not recongnize the device. i need to fix this in a reasonable amount of time because im afraid my dad will get MAD if it is broken!

please help me

it is a 4gig 2nd generation green ipod nano if that helps!!

Is it worth using Linux if you cannot play games or play the kids software. Is there a windows emulator available? Or is it too much hassle and not worth it. I use Fedora at work and like it and have used Ubuntu too.

I'm trying to put a Fireworks HTML onto my remote server from my local view, yet everytime I try I get the same message "Access denied. This file may not exist, or there could be a permission problem." I am clueless why I would have permission problem since this is happening on my hobby web site and I am the only one who uses and works on the site. I tried to also put a Flash file onto my remote server and got the same message. Once again, I get FTP error occured. I tested my FTP and it works fine. I just can't get my Fireworks or Flash files on my remote server. Help! I've been working on my site for the last two years and this is the first time something like this has happened.

I had to create a form , which I did in indesign and saved as a pdf. It now needs to be interactive in the sense that I had to create fill-in areas( for the qty and price slots). I did this in adobe pro 7 but the problem is that clients can fill in the slots but they cant save it. I need the file to be like this: http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw9.pdf
I noticed it said : this form has document rights applied to it. These rights allow anyone completing the form, with the free Adobe Reader to save their filled-in form locally.

basically i was writing my essay. then my computer had to be restarted. when i tried opening the file again word asked me what conversion i would like to apply, and i have tried them ALL, (including opening with notepad or wordpad) and everytime it just brings 10 pages of code up!!

please help has anyone had this happen to them before???

In Windows when you open folders you have the choice of thumbnail view, filmstrip and a preview box to see the files without having to open them first. Is there anything like that for the Mac? I find the lack of options for viewing folders ridiculous, especially seeing as I prefer Mac for almost everything else?

I recently purchased Microsoft Word 2007 for my Windows Vista computer. The default font is Calibri (Body) at size 11, but I would like it to be Times New Roman at size 12. It is also automatically set to be double-spaced, but I would like it to be single-spaced. If anyone knows how to change this, please help me.

A friend of mine doesnt have internet explorer at all on his computer, only has aol. When he tried to download IE6 he got this message:
the download location information is damnaged please
clear internet explorer browser cache and retry setup.

The situation is like this: I accidently remove my 2000 Windows services pack 4, and now I am not able to going into windowns because it requires "entry point from service pack 4 library" So, every time my computer is trying to run into windows, an error message would pop up and say windows can't find entry point and will be restarted in 53 seconds.. and the cycles keep going on and never end, so I think I would never to able to use my Windows again.

Now, I am thinking install windows service pack 4 again, but don't know how w/o access to my windows?

Any suggestions? Or I should just reinstall my windows?

Also, if I am going to reinstall my windows, is there a way to back up my files on desktop?? Please advise

couple of days back, i dragged the desktop icon from the quick launch bar of my windows XP onto my desktop, and later the icon got mistakingly deleted. How do I get it back??
If I try to create a "Desktop" shortcut from C:\Docs and Settings\All users..........., it is not the same Desktop quick launch icon.............................what to do??????
