The situation is like this: I accidently remove my 2000 Windows services pack 4, and now I am not able to going into windowns because it requires "entry point from service pack 4 library" So, every time my computer is trying to run into windows, an error message would pop up and say windows can't find entry point and will be restarted in 53 seconds.. and the cycles keep going on and never end, so I think I would never to able to use my Windows again.
Now, I am thinking install windows service pack 4 again, but don't know how w/o access to my windows?
Any suggestions? Or I should just reinstall my windows?
Also, if I am going to reinstall my windows, is there a way to back up my files on desktop?? Please advise

Try these in the order listed.
1. Start it in the safe mode. (Press F8 when it first starts to boot up) If it boots in safe mode you can reinstall SP4.
2. Put in the Windows 2000 CD and try to boot from the CD and if allowed choose the repair installation option. Let it repair Windows then re-install SP4.
3. On the Windows 2000 CD is a program to create a boot disk (actually 4 floppy disks). Install them and you will get to an MS DOS prompt from there using DOS commands you MAY be able to install SP4 or get to your files and move them.
NOTE: option requires you know DOS and have some computer programming skills. It may not be applicable to you.
4. Re-install Windows in the same directory it is in now. DO NOT format. You may (probably will) loose access to some programs that use the registry but ALL files will remain. SP4 and the programs that don't work can be re-installed.
5. You will need to do a complete re-installation of Windows 2000.

ok Do A gadget restoration on the factor the place U Havent as much as date Ur abode windows To SP4... After Doin That Reinstall That Sp4 On Ur computer lower back ... it will Do :) no might desire to install abode windows lower back :)
