i get a message telling me the file is not available. iv tried uninstalling and reinstalling office xp, when i copy the files onto disc and put them on another pc they work perfectly, i tried updates and system restores but nothing is working, does anyone have any suggestions.

My computer had a virus that automatically downloaded files onto my computer. I have gotten rid of the virus and all spyware that infected my computer. I have deleted all the files but I can't uninstall this one program it downloaded. Its called Weather Services. It wont open the program. I can't find it anywhere in the system. But its there when I go to "add/remove programs" and when I click remove, nothing happens. How do I get rid of it?? Its taking up a lot of memory!

i downloaded a complete season of a tv show, it is in a file in my downloads file.
i ripped it onto a cd using nero and for the last week or so whenever i try to delete it, it just says "being used by another program" is there a simple way of making a file unobtainable by programmes so it can be deleted?

How can I make the volume of my PC louder?
I've tried everything! I maximized everything on my PC all the volume controls and yet the volume is to quiet. I'm sure it's not speakers because even with the earphones it is still to quiet. I'm sure it's also not the media player because I tried several videos and music from iTunes to Windows Media Player, Youtube etc. I'm so frustrated it's really quiet I can barely hear a sound! I'm pretty sure I've checked everything. So if you know something I missed or a solution to this problem please answer my question.
I dont know anything about soundcards but i am SURE that this wasnt quiet before, before it souded okay, I don't think I need new speakers. I wanted it to sound the way it sounded before

Hi, I have tried just about everything to get rid of my viruses and I thought I would see if there is anything else I can try before I have to format my disk.
I had AVG when I got the virus. The virus name was winantivirus pro. I even had spyware that had trojans. I rmoved the AVG and I put in a current copy of Norton, Superspyware, windows defender, spybot, and I also turned off my system restore and ran all with it in that mode, at which time the Norton said I had a virus but it could not be removed because of incomplete files. I am running scans now with system restore off on trend micro and windows security safe, is there anything else I can do? It is taking about 5-7 minutes to start up and load my computer. Thank you in advance. PS, I can see the winantivirus on my computer when I scan. I can't find it anywhere to remove it. Does anyone know how to find it so I can remove it or any other info to help.........Thanks
