I am downloading a series of files from the corporate website at work. Is there a way to download more than 2 files simutaneously?

yea...u should just b able 2 download all of them at the same time...juss clik download for all of them and it should work.however, i must warn u that ur speeds wont b great

You should be able to download more simultaneously, just click whatever file is next. However, if your top speed is, say 100kbps, and you download 2 at the same time, the speed is distributed, making it 50kbps for each file, download 4, then the speed gets even lower to 25kbps, and so on... Use firefox, while it will not help you with downloading speeds, it is more flexible and you won't have problems like now.

yes you can, in fact you can go to as much as 5 at the same time, but the thing is you will give in to traffic and thus slower download rate.

IE can always download more than two at a time unless your sysadmin has put a cap on it
