Software - May 2007

Hello, I have a new Toshiba Laptop preinstalled with Vista Home Premium (plus recovery disk). I am looking at uninstalling this and installing XP Pro, due to compatiablity issues and speed/memory etc.
If I am to install XP, would all my hardware work, such as finger print (don't really need it), 5 in 1 card reader, bluetooth, wifi, 10/100/1000 LAN etc. Would XP find these automatically? or do I need to undertake the painful task of downloading each individual driver/software for XP?

Ok, I had a free program before my computer crashed. Before it crashed, I had a free photo editor program that when I install it, it will be directly under the windows picture and fax viewer and it could do all kinds of stuff. For example, can change the teeth color into white, remove pimples which is under make up, make a guy smile, improve the color of the image and many more. Please help.

If anyone out there has Windows Vista, I need sugguestions. I think I am getting the hang of , but one of my issues is...I cannot set up my ISP, which luckily enough for me is DSL, but. I try the disc but it keeps saying WFDE and some other issues not working. Any advice? Oh by the way it came with the pc, when purchased, I did not go out and buy it, and it does have some awesome features..as soon as I learn to use all of them..LOL.

I accidently deleted some picture from my hard drive and then recovered them using a data recovery software. The pictures were recovered but they never opened. I mean, the pic never showed up without displaying any message.

Sometimes it also says "corrupted header file"

Lately all programs I have downloaded from Microsoft are not installing. I have no problems downloading the files but when they attempt to install I always get a message saying all downloads have failed. It's really become a problem since I now have a zune and can't use it for anything because the program will not install. Thanks for any help you can give.

My math teacher says you go to Insert>Object>Equation Editor, but when I do that, I see a huge list of objects I can insert, but no Equation Editor.

My limewire application downloaded fine and was working great for about a week. all the sudden, it stops working! i click to open the application and it wont open, just shows the logo and disappears. So, naturally i delete and redownload the whole thing and the same issue keeps happening! ANy ideas on how to fix it OR of another search engine for music downloads (for free)??
