Lately all programs I have downloaded from Microsoft are not installing. I have no problems downloading the files but when they attempt to install I always get a message saying all downloads have failed. It's really become a problem since I now have a zune and can't use it for anything because the program will not install. Thanks for any help you can give.

I know what you are getting but is not due to a ms installer
I called Microsoft about it and also had people take a look at the PC finally I did a clean install of windows and away all problems went.

#1. You need to have administrative priviledges
#2 Zune Marketplace requires you to have atleast Windows XP with Service Pack 2. Download it free here: http://update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/v6/muoptdefault.aspx?returnurl=http://update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate&ln=en-us

Hope that helps...

I even have encountered, and resolved, this concern many circumstances earlier. it is the genuine concern: homestead windows Updates misses some updates while "help records" it needs (on your computing device) are corrupted, and that they must be manually changed, bumped off or re-put in on your computing device. call Microsoft and that they're going to stroll you interior the direction of the restoration. it relatively is commonly a unfastened call while homestead windows Updates fails.
