Any P2P is legal, only the files you share are illegal, no matter what you read if there even is a "EULA", (End user Lic., Agreement). Not only is P2P illegal, you run a 99.9% risk that the file you download or upload will be infected with trojans and all other kinds of viruses. That in itself is enough to make you not want to use P2P, because you may destroy your pc, if you are unable to remove these viruses.

Limewire and other file sharing software is legal. Using it to upload or download copyright protected media - music, videos, images, software - without the copyright holder's consent is illegal because it is theft.

BUT, if you USE it to DOWNLOAD MUSIC or VIDEOS for FREE, IT IS ILLEGAL.
